Mercury Circle 10.08.2004

It was a hot August night and we had an electric fan in the room to keep us cool.

About half way through the evening we heard a communicator trying to speak. We turned down the music and Travis turned off the fan so we could hear…

All… ‘Hello?’

Comm… ‘I heard you… I heard you, yes I heard you… this is all so very interesting’

Nick… ‘You’re welcome to have a chat with us if you like’

Comm… ‘Yes I’m trying, it’s hard…

I do not want to be indifferent, I once felt indifferent, rather I was economical in my judgement. I had to open my eyes so that I could see the reality of it all. I can see energies, I can also see crates, all different colours’

Nick… ‘Do you know what the crates are?’

Comm… ‘Containers’

Nick… ‘They are in this room are they?’

Comm… ‘I can see them and the colours merge… blue, purple, yellow… it’s a colour sandwich’

Daisy… ‘Are you seeing the crates and colours in us?’

Comm… ‘It’s your lights, it’s your colours’

Daisy… ‘How wonderful’

Comm… ‘They show how close you are, you are fused together and the colours are fused together and the fused colour is used by our people…

So when you make a sandwich you have bread, you have butter, you have the filling and you have more bread and maybe a little seasoning…

So you see there are many ingredients in this sandwich and to make a tasty sandwich you have to think about it and prepare it. So we have made a very careful sandwich, we’ve thought about the ingredients very much, that is so important. I thought you might find that quite interesting’

All… ‘Yes’

Comm… ‘I do hope so because that is how we view your energies’

Daisy… ‘Do you think you could tell us individually what our colours are before they are fused together?’

Comm… ‘You all have different colours. You see your thoughts create colours around you and hence your thoughts quite often differ from time to time so I can’t say they’re red, white or blue. That is impossible but because you have been coming and meeting with us, we’ve got to know you and we take a little energy here, a little energy there and the energies that we are taking are the energies we want and maybe we add a little yellow from whoever, a little bit of blue and a little bit of green again from whoever and we build and we store until we have an abundance. I hope you found that interesting?’

Comm… ‘No’

Comm… ‘It isn’t important’

Nick… ‘Is it the first time you’ve spoken to us?’

Caroline… ‘Can you tell us what you actually do with this energy you have?’

Comm… ‘We store it and we as a group add our own energies to it and we fuse the energies together and it’s hard. What I want you to see is it is hard, it isn’t an easy process. Some people seem to achieve it at a shorter length of time. Others are spending a long time but we are interested in you and us and in a great deal of preparation to enable us to do what we are hoping to achieve’

Daisy… ‘Thank you for sharing that with us’

Freddie… ‘Good evening to you and it has been a good evening too.

Well darlings I am the finale of this show, well Tob has to come and close it of course, I’d just like to say how happy we are to be with you, the batting is getting closer now darlings we’ll soon be odds on don’t you agree?’

Travis… ‘I like your language’

Freddie… ‘Well I shall stop talking like that, don’t want to make you too happy, why should I? Oh I do enjoy being a bit of a bitch… Queen bitch, oh that makes me so happy, they were very happy days, I was so pleased with myself. I look back and see I was such a success in the music I loved. So when you are successful in doing something that you love you are very lucky’

Daisy… ‘Can I add something to that Freddie?’

Freddie… ‘Yes’

Daisy… ‘Your music is still making lots of people happy, in fact what you left financially has increased tenfold according to one of the television shows’

Freddie… ‘Yes, I believe you mean my properties, but you see there is also royalties going to the trust and that is important.

I loved my home very much. I enjoyed shopping for things to build my home, to display my art, my ideas, my personality. You know I was never humble darlings it isn’t in my nature but I was never a hard person so I have my little home here and I collect if I’m a good boy because you can only go shopping for brownie points here darlings, it isn’t a financial gain it’s brownie points’

Caroline… ‘What sort of things have you bought?’

Freddie… ‘Oh I like pieces of art and glass ware, I do like glass ware and I enjoy furniture’

Caroline… ‘Do you have antiques over there?’

Freddie... ‘Yes, oh yes we can have what we desire’

Caroline… ‘Because it’s in your mind rather than reality?’

Freddie… ‘Well is yours in your mind dear? that’s to be debated, but you have to deserve what you are awarded. You see things that I particularly liked when I was on the earth, I’m allowed to have them here, replicas, so I have bits and pieces that they have reproduced for me but you know I do enjoy my surroundings’

Caroline… ‘Can I just… I find it difficult to understand, if things aren’t real or physical, but in the mind of the people over there… if you’re thinking about a particular object how does the other person see it if they don’t have that same object in mind?’

Freddie… ‘It is a replica… it is as solid as it is on the earth. You see our world is real to us. I can’t really begin to explain to you that our law here is you deserve what you get and you don’t have to ask for these things, you don’t have to work for these things, you don’t even think about these things for you are so busy with the important things so these pleasant things do happen now and again where they will take a replica of a structure which you have been particularly fond of and they will bring it here’

Caroline… ‘Even a house?’

Freddie… ‘Yes if you want, if you have been good enough, if you deserve it but you see darling your attitude changes rather when you come over here you know that mansion isn’t as important as it used to be’

Caroline… ‘No I was only mentioning the house because of it’s size’

Freddie… ‘Yes if you love it enough, yes we can make replicas’

Caroline… ‘And you can garden over there?’

Freddie… ‘Yes you can garden, we have many gardeners here. You see we have people here who follow their dreams. They were not able to follow their dreams when on earth because of many situations in their lives. It’s simple when you realise. We’re not so very different from you. We have our homes, we have our possessions. They’re ours to make life happy and comfortable’

Caroline… ‘I’ve read that some people come back and experience different lives with different souls, is that something that you’ve had anything to do with?’

Freddie… ‘No… No, you see I am happy here and I am at contentment and I think you have to realise that different people have different visualizations of what actually occurs. You see people come here with ideas of what over here is really like and they attune to that and they create that if it makes them happy but then they begin to become bored. You know a fortnight beside the seaside is quite sufficient thank you and when that fortnight is over you begin to perceive of other people and their ideas and then you open your mind to a new way of thinking. Do you understand what I am saying?’

All… ‘Yes’

Freddie… ‘So you see it’s like everyone tells the same story in a different way. I don’t want to believe that we come back so I’m not too aware of what is what if you know what I mean, I ignore it I suppose, but I bloody well don’t want to come back again’

Caroline… ‘But you wouldn’t come back as you were anyway. You’d come back as someone else in a different time to learn other lessons’

Freddie… ‘No darling you can learn here as well, you know if I was ever very rude to somebody I shall apologise when they come over and I expect them to apologise to me. I’m not an angel here. It’s different but not so very different. It’s so like earth when you come here. You can’t all of a sudden be in fairy land’

Caroline… ‘It’s a state of familiarity at first?’

Freddie… ‘Yes and then you begin to broaden your horizons, if you want to, as I tried to explain. At the seaside for two weeks you begin to think there must be more to life than this so tentatively you have a look round and you begin to learn and open your mind to other things’

Caroline… ‘You don’t have to work and pay bills’

Freddie…  ‘Well you are on a learning process dear, you can sit on a beach for a long, long time but what is the point. You will come to a place that you are familiar with and you will not be overawed with and you will be happy and content for a while and then the mind just wants to move on. You understand what I try to explain?’

All… ‘Yes’

Freddie… ‘You know it’s so difficult dears, all I can say to you is once you get over a few hurdles… You know some days things will play on your mind that is if you are prepared to move on. You can sit on the beach for a long time and not think but really when you start to think and discover things about yourself, things you like, things you don’t like, then you put them right, you meet other people who are in the same boat or have been on the same beach as you and you begin to bond with these people and because I got off my bottom, I have to say, I met you people didn’t I because I walked away from the beach to see what was a little further afield and I saw what could be done and I was very, very interested and I joined the group and I have enjoyed the pleasure of your company’

Caroline… ‘It often seems people in theatre come through to these groups’

Freddie… ‘Well you know darlings if you meet a lot of people in the business, a lot of them use mediums, a lot of them are mediumistic and they were successful because they could hear spirit. So yes and you know they are very interested. If you are interested in gardening you may never have had a garden on earth but you think what the hell I’d like a go at that, do you see where I’m coming from?’

Caroline… ‘Yes’

Freddie… ‘But I was interested, I knew that old Jo-Jo (Joan) was in line, we were compatible, you people took a bit of gathering together but we got there in the end’

Caroline… ‘You’re quite happy that we’re this number, you feel this is right?’

Freddie… ‘Yes, yes darlings because you know we just are getting it all together… There’s no point slapping the paint on without preparing it because it will all flake away, so we’re making a very good job of this’

Les… ‘Freddie, have you managed to talk to Brian (May) on this side?’

Freddie… ‘He’s aware of me darling, you see he’s a sensitive too and I do adore the man. He’s gentle and kind but he also had backbone… some days sparks flew and other days we were very compatible, so yes I have visited him and he is also aware of me, yes, it’s amazing how many people are aware’

Daisy… ‘It’s all very interesting what you have said, it’s amazing’

Freddie… ‘Oh I am… no seriously darlings it’s a different world and yes it’s the same… different laws and atmosphere I suppose’

Les… ‘Is everybody nice to each other over there’

Freddie… ‘No…’

Caroline… ‘So is it like down here’

Freddie… ‘Can be…’

Caroline… ‘But you don’t have hooligans and crime do you?’

Freddie… ‘There are areas where people are re-enacting, I suppose, their earthly lives, but it doesn’t really matter anymore’

Caroline… ‘They can’t kill each other because they’re already dead’

Freddie… ‘You see that’s what comes of having a closed mind, this is what I was saying to you, you have to get off the beach, very nice to rest for a while, it’s warm, it’s peaceful, it’s healing. Once you’re healed get out of the chair and get on with it… That’s if you have any kind of mind to do anything, some people sit in those chairs for a very long time’

Caroline… ‘There’s no such thing as time either on your side…’

Freddie… ‘Anyway they’re pulling the plug on me’

Les… ‘You sound a bit tired now Freddie’

Freddie… ‘It may not seem much to you… tell Jo-Jo the cat’s okay’

Les… ‘She’s got a lot on her mind at the moment’

Freddie… ‘Oh silly old tart… we take care of her, we take care of all of you but we can’t live your lives… That darlings is life and you judge yourselves and you have work it out’

Mercury Circle 01/06/2004

This week Joan felt a little under the weather with a sore throat. The spirit team had taken her very deep and were giving her some healing. Freddie took full advantage of Joan being totally ‘out of it’ and was able to bring more of himself through including a few ‘colourful’ words.

Before the Mercury Circle started in 1999 we had all met up at Colin Fry’s Friday Group which was a weekly trance evening. Magnus was the spokesperson for a group of spirits known as the Diamond and he would speak through Colin answering questions from all of us.

Daisy kicks off the following lengthy conversation with Freddie by asking him if it would be possible for Magnus to talk to us again through Joan…

Daisy… ‘Can I ask you a question?’

Freddie… ‘Yes of course you can darling’

Daisy… ‘You know we all started off in the Friday group at Colin’s with Magnus. I was just thinking as we have a bond of friendship with the Diamond group and especially Magnus, I wondered if along the way we could invite him as a guest speaker just to say hello and how things are because I do really miss him’

Freddie… ‘Yes, I understand that perfectly darling because you all learned so much, so very much and I appreciate what you say and I’m sure he has heard your welcoming speech to come and join you at some time so I can’t say yay or nay, I can’t speak for him, he has his own way of doing things. But you see darlings you all met one another at the Friday group, you were brought together for this purpose and this purpose alone, it was the beginning and it was the means to the end and yes you have made very good friends with the people who are in that group, the Diamond… yes… I think that it was time to move on because the purpose of you all coming together is to speak with me you see’

Daisy… ‘I’m not saying that with disrespect to our group, I do love our group’

Freddie… ‘I do understand and I know how you can miss old friends but sometimes the time has been spent and it is time to say I have my own road to travel. You see the people in that group dear, the Friday group, the Diamond, have their own way to go over here and we have all met up and touched each other at some time and I am quite sure that they still have the love and the interest in their hearts for you, you are not forgotten, no you are certainly not forgotten my dears because it was all planned such a long time ago, in fact I think the buggers did it to get me over here you know…

I was having a perfectly good time, I was having a ball, and then look what happened, I became an angel instead of a fairy!!! …it was welcomed darlings, I must stop being a fool’

Daisy… ‘No you’re not’

Freddie… ‘Oh yes I am… are we going to say oh no you’re not? …oh yes I am. I’m far too sophisticated darling to play those games’

Nick… ‘Was it very soon from when you went over that you became involved in communicating with our side?’

Freddie… ‘Yes, yes as soon as I became quite well I became interested. I was interested when I was on your side, on the earth, but you know darlings you do find that people who are in the theatre or connected with show business do have an interest in this simply because they’re artistic and so they’re sensitive so therefore they’re very easily persuaded’

Caroline… ‘And they’re good communicators’

Freddie… ‘Yes, and you see nothing can make me sit down and shut up’

Daisy… ‘Freddie, when you said that you got well after you passed on, I know you suffered a lot of physical pain but did it take a long time to get well?’

Freddie… ‘Well we don’t have a time scale here have we, but when I came over I really was very, very weak and needed a great deal of rest and when you are feeling strong and able you are then sort of released to the people that you are going to be living with and people who will help and guide you… because not only was my physical body depleted my other body was feeling weakened too…’

Nick… ‘Your etheric body?’

Freddie… ‘yes… it had to be regenerated as it were and so this takes time, I don’t know how long. I suppose I was keen and interested, you know if you have an interest in something it makes you feel lighter and brighter, it makes you want to look into things and I met so many interesting people and you know darlings I had a lot of friends who had come over with aids so they were all gunning for me and I had so much to talk about so really I did very, very well and settled in but you know darlings when you have a lot of friends and you’re thinking bugger me what’s going on, they are dead… So I was interested as to how and why, what and where they had come from. It takes a little bit of getting used to. But then again you see I was conditioned for the arrival over here because I was so in and out of consciousness and feeling the way I felt I was happy to get here. I’d had just about as much as I could take because as I say in my song, I wasn’t half the man I used to be, but it doesn’t matter anymore because I’m fit and happy and well. I’m interested and I love all of you dears’

Caroline… ‘So when people go over to your side with an illness, they don’t immediately wake up feeling better?’

Freddie… ‘No dear because you are depleted and you need to be conditioned I suppose you just need to be regenerated and just because you are involved in this you are still quite a stranger too… a shock to the system I suppose… I’d become a bloody ghost!!!’

Daisy… ‘It must be quite a shock for those who come over in an accident’

Freddie… ‘We’re all prepared for those you see darling because they are put into a place where the conditions are right for them and you know they can be here having the healing and being conditioned to their conditions and they will have someone who is looking after them and helping them and it will come to a time when someone they know will come and maybe say hello and things are usually explained to them… and you know some people have a horrified expression on their face which is hilarious… but so many people are relieved and happy that there’s something after the earth and their deaths so it works two ways you see darlings.

I’m having a good old chin-wag, it’s wonderful, I am enjoying myself’

Daisy… ‘So are we’

Freddie... ‘That’s good, and how’s Neddie doing?’

Travis... ‘I’m fine, enjoying listening to you’

Freddie… ‘Well you always did dear, everything else pales into insignificance doesn’t it darling…

Travis… ‘Oh, yes’

Freddie… ‘Then I’ll still be your friend’

Caroline… ‘Freddie, what happens to people who come over to your side from committing suicide, I’ve heard so many different things like some are chastised or sent to a different place?’

Freddie… ‘The way that I know of it is if you bring yourself over here before your time, you have still got lessons to learn darling, and there’s no escaping that so you will still face the conditions that you would have faced on earth and you have to still work though them but it is done with kindness and with love. No one gets a slapped wrist here dear. They have been silly. Some people will say they were selfish, they were cowards but no one knows what is going on in another person’s mind, so we’d rather you didn’t do it but I’m not going to say to you that it is completely wrong because it is their decision and their decision alone, but quite often if they are grieving for someone…

I can tell you a story actually. I was very good friends with Diana Dors and she came over here with cancer and she left her husband behind. He committed suicide to be with her. I’m sorry dear it didn’t happen. He had to go to his own place, work his way through whatever he had to work through before he would be allowed to join her. So it was very frustrating knowing he was doing the wrong thing. So it may seem like the easy way out but you still have to face whatever you had to face and learn while you were on earth but no one is condemned. You really are over here at the stage you were on the earth. You are just on this side doing it instead of on the earth doing it, you understand dears?’

Caroline… ‘Yes, are you still friends with Diana Dors?’

Freddie… ‘Oh I see her now and again, you know, you don’t lose touch with friends but you know it will happen that you will come over here and we will say hello now and again to one another…’

Caroline… ‘I actually went swimming with her when I was about seven’

Freddie… ‘Really?’

Caroline… ‘When she was an actress in Worthing’

Freddie… ‘Yes I was rather fond of her, she had a pretty poor reputation but you know darlings, when you achieve everything you are rather more naughty than if you have to work for a crust, you have more time to play dear, so these people play rather a lot, and really if they’re hurting anyone they’re hurting themselves aren’t they, but I’m no judge, I’m not allowed, I don’t want to judge others, I’ve got my own heap to deal with dear’

Caroline… ‘And you’re still learning and paying for things you’ve…’

Freddie… ‘Oh I’ve got a long way to go but I’ve come a long way and I’m very happy and very contented and I’m very interested and I’m very well and still looking very good, so that’s told you lot hasn’t it…

Don’t fear coming over here, don’t fear it, it’s very interesting here, you’re allowed to do things which you didn’t have the time, the patience or the money to do while you were on earth.

It is so much more real. Whatever you are wanting to do it appears more real, more easier and more wonderful to do.

All… ‘Yes very clear’

Freddie… ‘Yes I’m enjoying it because the old tart… we can’t do too much with her… better give her some healing I think’

Nick… ‘She’s quite out of it now is she?’

Freddie… ‘Yes, she’s got her head on my shoulder. She thinks it’s wonderful, so do I’

Nick… ‘When you speak to us like this can you only use words that are in her vocabulary?’

Freddie… ‘Well I drop them in… I drop MY words in’

Nick… ‘So you could use a word she hadn’t heard of if you wanted?’

Freddie… ‘Well I suppose I could, I know quite a few words but I expect she’s heard them, yes, she doesn’t fool me’

Nick… ‘So could somebody speak in a foreign language that she didn’t know?’

Freddie… ‘Well you see darling over here it doesn’t matter about language. I know some people do come through and speak in their language that they spoke on earth. That is possible, of course it is, you know it’s happened time after time’

Caroline… ‘If the medium mispronounces a word that the spirit has put through the medium, does it still come out incorrectly?’

Freddie… ‘Yes because we’re using that medium’s mind, and you know she speaks in a peculiar way anyway’

Nick… ‘Can you hear what you’re saying?’

Freddie… ‘Yes darling I’m very aware of what I’m saying, I’m very close to her’

Nick… ‘So if you put a word through her which came out wrong this end you would know and could correct it?’

Freddie… ‘Yes, very easily…

It’s really good to be here you know, speaking with you’

Daisy… ‘What is your personal belief in reincarnation?’

Freddie… ‘I don’t want to believe in it dear, you see I had such a good time when I was on the earth. I want to take whatever I created and take it further and influence other musicians and other people who I can help. I just want to move on, I don’t want to come back’

Daisy… ‘Are you allowed to come back?’

Freddie… ‘I don’t know, I don’t know, you see darling you have people here who still go to church, they still have their beliefs, so if you were a Christian, a Muslim, Parsi or whatever you have people who still believe this, and if you have people coming over here who are determined to have lived 90 lives then they are allowed to believe it until it becomes clear to them what is what and I think you know your Diamond friend did touch on this subject and he said it was just having met up with different people that gave you these memories and I for one darlings would prefer to believe that, much prefer but it remains to be seen dear.

I think we have a lot to say in what we would like to do. No one demands us to do anything, you become interested you see and keen to do things and as I said to you earlier, things are so much easier to achieve here because you haven’t got your material world view to consider and you see it’s virtual reality I suppose, because you know it’s like re-enactments, we have access to so many things here that I can’t really begin to explain to you which may sound like it’s a cop out but I can’t begin to explain’

Caroline… ‘The Buddhists believe in reincarnation don’t they?’

Freddie… ‘Yes, and you see Buddhists will be Buddhists. The Christians will be Christians, and the Catholics will stay away from our séances!!!’

Daisy… ‘But I’m here’

Freddie… ‘Yes but you have moved on… I’ve got to go and ride my bicycle I’ve got to ride my bike.

Daisy… ‘It’s lovely talking to you’

Freddie… ‘I know it’s lovely talking to you, we are a mutual admiration… I have so enjoyed being in your company. I do hope I haven’t bored you. I do hope I have answered all your questions in an intelligent and interesting way’

All… ‘Yes’

Mercury Circle 22/04/2004

We were now using one of the healing rooms above the Healing Light Shop in Shoreham.

For our first sit there we attached a wire across the corner of the room with a curtain draped over it as a make-shift cabinet and we blacked out the window with blankets. Not ideal and some light was getting in but we were determined to sit.

Soon after starting Tob came through. The voices were weaker than usual.

Tob… ‘Welcome, good good very good’

All… ‘Welcome to you’

Tob… ‘New house… we can fill with love and warmth, become home, no longer house, become home…

We keep on working, speak later, I say to you much love from our group for we are happy to be here and to work and to carry on forward for the love of humanity, au revoir’

All… ‘Au revoir Tob’

Caroline had been seeing wonderful colours while Tob was speaking and Daisy felt she wanted to get up and give Tob a hug…

Then Freddie came through…

Nick… ‘What do you think of our new room?’

Freddie… ‘I was going to ask you how you felt’

Daisy… ‘It’s a little bit strange but we’ll get used to it and it’s our favourite colour too Freddie... yellow’

Freddie… ‘Yes I know darling, I had a little say in that.

I like your room. We will be very happy here and we’ll be like the dog’s dinner darling. Yes there’s nothing to worry about’

Caroline… ‘I think some of us are very tired this evening, especially Travis’

Freddie… ‘Well you know we ignore that darling ummm’

Daisy… ‘It’s old age Freddie’

Freddie… ‘It’s like a good vintage isn’t it dear… I will look after you Neddie’

Freddie… ‘Some people go to extremes. I know the feeling well… In for a penny, in for a pound darlings that’s what I always say...

Well it’s wonderful to be here again darlings. A little bit of despondency amongst you all but it will become quite normal and I hope you enjoy coming and mixing with us. We are firm friends and we are firm about the road we would like to take for it can sometimes be an endurance test but with your help and your love we will get there.

So darlings I think I’d better go now, we’re building up the energies, love to you all… especially the boys’

After a bit of music we had a new communicator through speaking very quietly…

‘Love one another… Examine your feelings at the end of your day and be true to yourselves. Examine what you have done in your day’ (The rest of this communication was too quiet to record properly but he talked about the end of each day being an exam on our lessons learnt during the day)

There was another communicator trying to speak but couldn’t quite manage it. Then Tob came through to start the communication which was then carried on by someone else. This would often happen when communicators were having difficulties, either Tob, Freddie or Sparrow would begin to speak and allow another to take over…

Tob… ‘Sometimes the road is not easy… (voice changed to that of a woman) …for you are just at the beginning. The road twists and meanders and it has it’s ups and downs. Sometimes you have to go through darkness to get to the light but so do most people. You are no different, you are all going to the light. Some people do take different highways and byways, that is their prerogative but I can only say to you that as you wander the roads, the avenues, the lanes, enjoy… for it is an experience. We put the music back on then as we were singing along to ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ a new communicator was heard…

Comm… ‘I beg your pardon… I hope you don’t mind if I just have a quick word with you’

All… ‘No not at all, please do’

Comm… ‘When you are listening to your music you will hear the word ‘Galileo’…

They could see. They knew what was going to happen to your earth. They were great masters… Where has it gone? Where has it gone too?

Really I just wanted to say to you be guided by the philosophy and the wise words that you hear from the peaceful man. Forget the warmongering. Forget the instigators of the fighting for they are not wise they are foolish.

Read all the philosophers and take meaning from their words and it will have a calming influence and just use philosophy as the man Galileo did and you maybe will prevent wars and destruction of human kind.

Do not allow them to do this to you. Stand up and shout for peace and love and unity. If you don’t have unity then you are failing. You must unite in your ideas and you must unite in your thoughts of peace and love and most of all of the creation of your world.

Not only do humans suffer, you have animals that suffer. Can you imagine the pain that this conflict is causing? We beseech you to think and pray thoughts of peace for when there is combat no one can win. There are vast amounts of casualties not always the ones on the battle fields, it extends far beyond.

We cry for you. We cry at the destruction and disruption of the world that was meant to be so beautiful and in your different lands there is much that can be learnt from each other. There is much tasting and enjoying of one another’s cultures.

I beg of you pray for peace and live your life with peaceful heart and mind. Try not to enter conflict no matter what is done to you. I beseech of you. I beseech thee to pray for peace for the sake of future children that are coming to you. Let them inherit your peaceful philosophy. Do not allow yourself to become victim of passion and anger. That can only point to destruction.

Do not fear my words but I ask you for prayers for peace to enable us to secure your energies that they may be used to bring light and understanding to the battle fields. For there are many, many disasters that have befallen your world in the name of God and religion and you are enlightened enough to know that this is stupidity and ignorance.

Lift your hearts up high in the thoughts of a loving giving sharing world for it holds so much beauty. I am your servant, thank you’

We were down to three sitters this week as both Les and Caroline were unable to attend but we did get some great trance communication from one of the ‘chemists’ and from Freddie…

Chemist… ‘My dears the music is wonderful, I would like to tell you how it helps us’

Nick… ‘That would be interesting’

Chemist… ‘It creates waves, we send our energy through waves and we all have been chosen because of the energies we have and the compatibility to your energy and so we take the waves of your energy and the waves that have been created by the music and we combine them with our energies until we can make a pattern and that pattern we transfer to the medium and that is how we operate. Then we give the pattern more power, not larger but more power and it enables us to communicate and our lady has an energy that will work with our pattern to enable us to become more solid’

Nick… ‘As in materializations?’

Chemist… ‘Yes… but it is a wonderful process and we are very eager to prove to you that we are progressing and the energy between the two groups will become extensive wavelengths and then once we have the die cast we can progress very quickly... I thought you might be interested in this’

All… ‘Yes very much’

Nick… ‘Do you think it will happen soon, the materializations?’

Chemist… ‘Yes, we have had a time to be with you and we on our side are compatible and when people are compatible then progress I hope will be exclusive. There’s so much that we can learn from this experiment. It is as though we are mingling with you but our waves are different to yours so we have to blend them together’

Nick… ‘How are your waves different to ours?’

Chemist… ‘Ours are higher and faster’

Nick… ‘Do you have to slow your waves down then?’

Chemist… ‘Yes, and we try to lift yours a little. We cannot interfere too much otherwise you will not be able to receive our communication and we feel it is very important that we have this communication for we are interested in the experiment and you might like to know that I am not particularly interested in coming and touching or speaking to you. My ideals and my excitement is to do with science and the organization that we do to help to build and use the energies. The chemistry is my work’

Nick… ‘Were you a scientist when you were on our side?’

Chemist… ‘I was a chemist and I feel very passionate that we get this right and that we the chemists feel the time and the place is right to go ahead’

Daisy… ‘Is it particularly important for us to consider what we eat before we come to the séance because of the chemistry of our bodies?’

Chemist… ‘Only eat what makes you comfortable. It would not be wise to have too large an amount. You are individuals. You will be guided as to how you feel you would like to present yourselves here. I suggest a light meal simply for your own comfort. We don’t have anything to do with your stomachs, we are interested in your energy'

Daisy… ‘The reason I ask this is I read in a book that vegetables would make our vibrations higher’

Chemist… ‘I think vegetables are very good for you but it is the food that makes you feel good and comfortable and if you feel good and comfortable then we can work with you… yes it’s very interesting. I can only tell you that we are progressing. It is moving along and we all have an input to this gathering. I hope you have found my few words helpful’

Chemist… ‘Useful information that really does affect you and us on our side. We have facilities that we can lower the vibrations and you with your music and your singing lift your vibrations so it becomes like the sea where it ebbs and it flows and this compatibility with this one motion is in time and in tune and that is how we operate. I may not be interested in touching you I am interested in building the mechanics in order that all the people can touch you’

Nick… ‘Was you aware of this sort of mediumship when you were on our side?’

Chemist… ‘No… simply my chemistry is still a big interest to me and so I joined this group. I was invited just like you people and I find it very interesting and very exciting’

Daisy… ‘I’m not sure whether you are aware that we also meet on a Monday for our own development. We have a new man who’s come and joined us and I was just wondering if you are aware of his energies and if you feel that his energies are compatible for this group?’

Chemist… ‘We have to give a time. We have to make notes and when the time is right an invitation will be extended but in the meantime leave well alone. We are happy and I know you are also happy with the conditions. I have enjoyed having the experience and pleasure of speaking with you, thank you very much, goodbye’

Freddie… ‘Yes, he’s like a back stage boy. They’re very important. They don’t get the applause, they don’t get the extensive applause and notice of their work that the front men get, yes, well it’s a very interesting process darlings you have a few of us coming through and speaking and doing our bit but we just slot him in when the stage is set’

Nick… ‘It sounds like it won’t be long before you’re walking amongst us’

Freddie… ‘Oh I hope not darling but we must get our circle back together… get our little friends back and see how it goes, but we have got the old tart so relaxed, oh yes, very little interference. Anyway darlings I do miss our old friends don’t you? I mean it’s alright the three of us…

Nick… ‘What do you think of the Russell Watson version of Bohemian Rhapsody?’

Freddie… ‘Yes well… he’s a beautiful young man who has a wonderful voice and who am I to judge? If he wants to record my genius then let him and as you know I am rather a big fan of opera. I do enjoy the opera and he has a wonderful voice and uses it in a different way to the way I used mine. I know I didn’t have the ability to sing in opera but I really did enjoy trying working with other people who had more of a classical training'

Daisy… ‘They were good pieces’

Freddie… ‘I was rather proud of them. I had a few sleepless nights. It was a big job that was facing me but I thought courage and just let it flow… I think to let it flow whatever you do is the best thing I can say to you, you see you let things become constricted you don’t reach your full potential and I was the type of person who wouldn’t let any opportunity pass me by because I just loved the music. I enjoyed being know, I enjoyed being famous. It has it’s down turns sometimes when you seek a little privacy but to be standing in front of a lot of people was quite wonderful darlings, yes, I hope I’m not sounding conceited but it was a wonderful feeling, I did so enjoy the concerts but sometimes it’s like any success, sometimes you tire of it and you need to clear your head. I only had a few close friends who I could trust with my private life. I enjoyed fame and it enabled me to have a life of luxury and travel and do so many interesting things because of the money I had earned but you people mustn’t envy famous people because it isn’t always fun. I think I have to say to you that you are all individuals and you have to allow your star to shine… do you understand me?’

All… ‘Yes’

Freddie… ‘I suppose I was one of the lucky ones but in another way it wasn’t always as bright and as shining as you might think but I had a very interesting time, I loved the music, I adored the music, it was my life darlings everything else was secondary and that’s why I like to listen to your music that you play here, it helps me with my work and it’s good fun it does lift your energies and I can see the energies when you like a piece of music and then when you don’t like the music the energy changes’

Nick… ‘What is your work that it helps you with?’

Freddie… ‘I am the front man aren’t I darling… I mean how stupid can you be, I’m very annoyed with you’

Nick… ‘Sorry I thought you were talking about some other sort of work’

Freddie… ‘Oh no, where have you been? I’m sorry darlings I don’t mean to be rude but I’m rabbiting on and you’re not taking the least bit of interest. I think we should get rid of you and I will have some say in that. I am the front man darlings…

I only joke with you, I’m part of a group and we’re all as important as each other. I have the biggest mouth, I’m used to communicating, yes, don’t you go annoying me, you can’t do that to the star dear boy. I can have a tantrum you know… I hope you understand I’m only joking otherwise I will have a few words spoken to me…

No darlings my work is to hopefully come through and be with you and speak and sing and talk and maybe one or two of you will give me a kiss?’

We’d had Sparrow come through to sing happy birthday as it was my birthday the following day, then after a bit of a struggle, a new communicator came through…

‘Love… love and the source of love. The source of love is within you…

Your attitude affects the whole prospect of your life. Every time you have a problem in your life, change your attitude towards the problem and then see what you can do. If you do not have a very good attitude you cannot handle complications in your life for you and no one else is responsible. You cannot say that person is not kind to me so I am hurt a little. That is their problem not your problem. There are many who blame other people for the indifference they have in their lives but you are the master of yourselves, no one else.

I think you can do experiment with yourselves. Test how your attitude is to whatever problem comes. See if you feel at ease. See if you are more contented. See if you have not a problem. I think that you will see that I am right. It will help you a great deal. It will also help the people around you with light and happiness and you will have wonderful feeling that you are helpful to others. For you must never read a book by it’s cover as you people say because there are many pages in that book and there are many stories.

I think that if you look for the attitude and did the little experiment you will feel yourselves feeling less anxious and you all know that anxiety leads to stress’

Caroline… ‘That’s absolutely true’

‘Yes of course it is. You see we have lived and we watch and you know good attitude stops any bad atmospheres. So please try and you will feel more at ease and less unease and as you have been told before unease leads to disease… You have heard that before haven’t you?’

All… ‘Yes’

‘Wise words… anyway I think I have to go now, I have had such a good time. We were getting our lines crossed but I think we are working it out now. We really are missing the little lady (Les was away this week) but we have to make do with what we have and have good attitude about it…

After a few songs it got very cold and another new communicator came though…

‘A big house where we can all live… (these were the words from an Elton John song we were singing along to) In my father’s house there are many mansions and in many mansions there are many people and each mansion is for people who are of a like disposition and a like attitude and so you mix with the people who make you feel comfortable. People who will help you on your pathway to higher and more wondrous things for you to experience.

In my father’s house there are many slums where the debauched, the cheats and the people who have done the foulest deeds live. In my father’s house there are mansions where people live who have led a more loving and giving life and have worked their lives through service to others. These people will visit the slums and show them the road to reason. For what is the point of sitting in the dark when there are many lights ahead and all things are illuminated so that you can see clearly.

You people come over here, many different people, and our work is to enable every soul to reach the light. In my father’s house there are many people in a mansion who are ready to heal, who are ready to love no matter how you have behaved because all is done in light and love. All is giving, all is receiving one another in a glowing mansion… goodbye’

After that Freddie came through for a chat…

Freddie… ‘Now it’s the comedy act… anyway I’m not slumming it. I thought I’d tell you that because I know my reputation goes before me. I’m a good boy now and I’m still having fun.

Anyway dears I do think you are very lucky to be listening to these people. We listen to them you see dears and we learn such a lot and you know it gives you a lovely warm feeling inside because you know you do mix with people who are on the same wavelength as yourself. And you know what it is like when you meet someone and you are instantly attracted and feel at ease with them. Well that’s what it’s like for us.

I’m going to go now. I haven’t had much of a part in this show so I’m going to have a word with the boss. Tell him I’m not happy dear so what are you going to do about it…’

Caroline… ‘Can you tell us who those people were?’

Freddie… ‘They come from the souls dear, they’re quite high up. I’m not saying that they’re all important and special but they are very learned. I think learned is a better word than saying they are high up. Yes they certainly know what they are talking about as far as we are concerned’

Caroline… ‘When they talk about mansions do they mean dimensions?’

Freddie… ‘Yes… for we all have our little homes if we want them and you know you could have a mansion if you deserve it, you get what is due to you. It’s not like earth where things come to you in so many different ways. Over here you get what is due to you and what you deserve and you know there are some awful places I have been told. I haven’t been, I haven’t the courage to go’

Caroline… ‘That would be for very bad people wouldn’t it?’

Freddie… ‘No not bad people, bad actions. Nobody is bad it’s their actions that are bad. Within each one of us there is a little light and it can grow brighter and brighter until you are absolutely glowing. And they will sometimes have to earn their way to the light. They stay where they are until they realise no one is given up on… no one’

Caroline… ‘Even Hitler and people like that?’

Freddie… ‘Oh yes, there are many things inside a person that are worthwhile. There are many people who come and speak to you who have not done what they could have done in their lifetimes. You know you have done wrong at some stage in your life but you know you are not a bad person it’s just different levels dear’

Nick… ‘What do they have to do to put right their wrongs and progress?’

Freddie… ‘They have to face the people they have wronged’

Caroline… ‘Even if they are not on your side’

Freddie… ‘Oh they wait till they come over but they feel what they have done. They feel the pain that they have created and sometimes they think ‘so what’ but there is always someone there to encourage them to look at what has happened to them and where they can actually go and you know darlings as soon as they start seeing the light they have that little glow of love within them and you see it makes them want to improve and explore and you know then they begin to realise it’s so much nicer in the light and the colours than it is in the grey and dark. You get what you deserve but no man is lost darling… You know you’re going to turn me into a saint… if my friends could see me now.

But I knew a lot of these things when I was on your side. I wasn’t ignorant of the things that we talk about and the things we experience. I was interested but you see I have another gift which I followed, yes, anyway I hope I haven’t distressed you darlings’

Caroline… ‘Oh no, I don’t think you have told us anything we didn’t know it’s just…’

Freddie… ‘It’s the cold facts of the daylight I suppose’

Caroline… ‘It’s just when they talked about the slums I was a bit shocked… that’s like hell I suppose’

Freddie… ‘Well there is only hell that you have created for yourselves. You know there’s ‘My father’s house has many mansions’ and there’s also ‘Two wrongs don’t make a right’ and one that is very important to the old tart’s mother, ‘Do unto others as one would do unto oneself’ not a bad motto to follow…

Anyway darlings you are not going to the slums, if you were I wouldn’t be the right person to be speaking with you now, we’re all airy fairy where I am darlings’

Freddie… ‘You could be what I want you to be dear, are you sure I couldn’t persuade you? Don’t get cocky with me Neddie… Anyway wonderful to be around, you see I got a bit of the show after all. I think my complaints were heard. I do adore speaking with you, I adore each and every one of you, I love each and every one of you in my own way so you’re very safe Neddie, don’t you worry your little head about a thing darling because they are holding me back. Tob… ‘I thank you, I congratulate you all on the love in this place tonight. We thank you for your kind hearts and your love for as you heard there are many souls who have no kindness or love. The love here tonight is tangible. We are lucky people, don’t give up on anyone. I don’t say to you that you mix with people who can hurt or harm you, but it will help us in our work if you can have a kind thought to that person then it builds the love and it builds an energy so we can help the people. I give you my love, I give you my respect, I give you my heart for I love you, every individual with the complexities and the idiosyncrasies that they have in their lives. A few days before this sitting the Madrid train bombings had occurred and were still very much on the minds of the sitters, but Freddie was as cheery as ever…

Freddie… ‘Hello darlings, I do hope you are all feeling in good condition and you have waggy tails and a cold nose’

Caroline… ‘We’re living in very unpredictable times at the moment, I’m sure you are aware of what’s going on’

Freddie… ‘Oh yes dear, you mustn’t let it prey on your mind… It’s all part of your learning, it is all part of the world at the moment, it is destined to be and what a shambles it all is… It’s quite disgusting darling, it is quite unbelievably disgusting. However they are all being looked after, the ones that came over, and the ones you have to send your thoughts and prayers to are the ones that are left behind. I can’t say any more really because I can’t make it any better with my words, because there really isn’t a reason I can give you for it happening, it is pure and simple savagery’

Caroline… ‘I think a lot of people turn away from religion because they don’t understand how God can let these things happen’

Freddie… ‘Yes I know… there are too many gods in your world, too many ideas of God in your world, and really all God wants them to do is be kind and understand one another. Is it too much to ask of a person to understand another person’s religion.

You see it’s so good that in the future we’re going to get people come and visit us and we’re going to be able to ease their minds of the troubles that they feel in their hearts. For you know we have tragedies like the terrorists but there are tragedies every day with aids, with drugs, with violence. Tragedies every day simply because people can be so selfish or they don’t care about anyone’s opinion but their own and some people are just too selfish for words and if you think self, self, self, it doesn’t paint a good picture…

But don’t be down, please don’t be down for there are many people like you in the world and after a few bits and bobs that are bound to happen it will settle down again. Some sanity will return. The ordinary person in the street is horrified by these actions. It is the minority who have created all these problems and we feel insulted, their religion has been insulted and they don’t deal with it very well, it is so sad, so, so unnecessary when there is so much to be happy about, but as I say it will come to an end and you just have to do the best you can in the situation that you are in. There’s nothing else that you can do. We hear you speaking and we hear you asking can you help us, can you help with the situation and we are doing all we can do to reach the minds of the perpetrators. Don’t get too downcast darlings, it is a wonderful world spoilt by a few and if you look back over the history of the world it’s always been the same, just become slightly more sophisticated with the weapons that are being used and the more sophisticated it becomes the worse the explosions and the outcome of these explosions…

Well you got me onto that subject and I hope I’ve been able to explain to you within reason what to think and what to expect I suppose, but how sad darlings, my heart does ache for you all when I look and see the muddle of it all, when it could be quite wonderful. You know you could all sing together, you could all work together and you could progress into the light together. You’re all human beings and you are all equal in the sight of the one god who is the light of the world and these thoughts and man-made ideas destroy the beauty and the happiness of many…

Well I’m very proud of myself after that… but you see darlings I am just a human being as you are. No matter what rank, what colour, what creed. You are responsible for you. You cannot be held responsible for others and some people become power happy and dangerous and they see no other point of view but their own and quite often their point of view becomes discoloured and this is where the tragedy all starts. I think you would agree with me on that dears?’

Caroline… ‘It’s just been going on for so many hundreds and thousands of years you just wonder if it’s ever going to change’

Freddie… ‘When are they ever going to learn… as I say I do feel sorry for you people but you have to do your stint dears, you have to get on with it, and we will love and protect you as much as we possibly can. So don’t feel alone for we have become very close on this side and also I know you people are having a wonderful experience with one another and enjoying one another’s company and we all have a common goal. We are all working hard to achieve it and that will be worth waiting for…

I suppose I’d better go, polish my wings, love to you all darlings we really do have a good feeling together… au revoir’

There was some slow, soft singing from the cabinet then a new communicator took control…

‘I love you… always remember that you are loved, no matter what befalls you, you are loved and I wish for thoughts to you that love will give you the courage and the endurance that you may need to carry you through your lives. Do not be afraid of the darkness for they are poor souls who are pitied and we also love those people. We are touched by your anxieties and your fears. Let me reassure you that you are only walking your earth in an overcoat for within and underneath that overcoat is a being of love and light and within all people underneath this overcoat are beings of love and light. The only problem is that they have lost sight of the light and they have allowed their world and their views to become clouded and dark. But they are beings of love and light. It may take many, many seasons for them to get a glimpse of this love and light. They come to our side still with their anger, still with the pain even when they are faced with the pain and anxiety that they have given to others. They are not going to listen for they have much learning to do. For any kind of person who inflicts their will and their views on others it is a sad, sad thing that they do. For we are trying so hard to provide your world with the love and the happiness and the light that it can surely deal with and then the dark clouds come to you. You can only feel love for that dark cloud that is covering the soul who is love and light. There are many evil beings that are down on earth in the name of God and I’m afraid it’s a learning process that may come to our side that we have to take care of for many, many seasons. So feel anger at the damage that is being done but don’t allow the love and the light that is you to be also covered in a dark cloud. I can say to you two wrongs do not make right. Love one another. Very, very difficult, it is your duty to try, thank you so much…’

We then heard more singing in the cabinet ‘All Things Bright and Beautiful…etc’ and we joined in before the communication resumed…

‘Allow music into your lives, say it, make nice sounds and lift your spirit with the sounds and also that of your neighbours. You don’t have to sing out loud all the time but let the music be within you. Listen to the music of the rain, of the wind, of the water. This is so beautiful and it needs to be nurtured and loved just like a human being. Always have the music within you. I don’t mean the kind of music that you are playing here but the music of life. The sounds of life that you are finding particularly beautiful. It will be amazing the feeling that you get. You see our world here is full of music and love is music too. Keep singing for yourself and for the world… goodbye’
